There are various limits and options that can be set in Combat Simulator to make each and every match you play a completely different experience. You ca toggle on anything you like, and set the game limits to anything as well. This always for a highly customized deathmatch, unlike the one seen in the previous Rare shooter.
To make it easier for inexperienced players to play with more experiences players, a Handicap option is available. This lets you set how much health his human player will have. 10% is little to none, while 1000&% is the max.
Options
One-Hit kills
All shots are fatal regardless of where they hit.
Slow Motion
A continuous "Combat Boost" effect. All players and simulants will more a lot slower.
Fast Movement
Players and simulants move at faster speeds, and aiming is harder to control.
Display Team
Simulants and players are cast in a color according to what team they are on. Only works if Teams is on.
No Radar
Human players do not have radar displayed in upper-right corner of the screen. Makes it harder to track down players.
No Auto-Aim
Turns of the game's auto-aim feature. Players will have to manually aim with R or L.
Kills Score
All kills count towards the scenario's game limit. (Ex: King of the Hill; normally you can only score by capturing the Hill. Killing other players would not raise the score. This option allows you to gain points by killing other players)
Show On Radar
If the scenario "King of the Hill" is being played, the location of the hill will be displayed on the Radar. If your playing Capture the Case, the team briefcase locations will displayed. If hacker is played, it will show where the Remote and Computer it. If Pop A Cap is played, the Cap will be displayed.
Highlight
Hightlights scenario important items like briefcases, computers, or remotes.
Limits
Time
Controls how long each match will last. Ranges from 1 minute to an hour. The match ends whenever time is up, regardless of what the score is.
Score
Controls how many points can be earned by any player before the game is up. Ranged from 1 to 100 points.
Team
Controls how many points combind a team can earn. Ranged from 1 to 400
