Perfect Dark contains several different Combat Simulator deathmatch scenarios. These scenarios determine how points will be gained, special editions to the levels, if teams are needed, and so on and so forth. Each one is more different than the last, and offer some fun ways to have deathmatches.

Combat
The standard combat mode. Players run around, or camp in certain areas, and kill other players to score points. Teams can be toggled on or off.

Hold the Briefcase
A white briefcase is placed somewhere in the level. Whoever finds it must hold it for a period of time to score a point. If the player holding the briefcase dies, he or sh will drop the case. Anyone is then free to pick it up. Teams can be toggled on or off.

Pop a Cap
(webmaster's favorite) Throughout the match, a player will be choosen as the "Cap." If the Cap is killed by another player, the killer will get two points rather than one. If the Cap kills him or herself, they will still be the Cap when they respawm. If the Cap stays alive for one minute, they get a point. They remain the Cap until killed. On Team Mode, you lose two points if you kill the Cap who is on your team.

Hacker Central
A Data Uplink and a Computer have been placed in the level. Players must find the Data Uplink and hack into a computer to score points. Whenever the player dies, the Data Uplink respawns somewhere else. It is best played with teams, because you cannot use weapons while hacking.

King of the Hill
When the match starts, a an area of the level will become the hill. Whatever team holds the hills for a certain period of time will gain points. The hill can be mobile, meaning it will change location after points have been earned. Whenever unfriendly playes enter, the hill's countdown will stop until the threat has been eliminated. That, along with teams, can be toggled on or off.

Capture the Case
Depending on the number of teams, cases will be placed in the current level. Other team members must take one of those cases and return it to their case to score points. Only one case can be held at a time. Teams cannot be toggled off.
